Power quality analyzer is designed for monitoring and control of electric power quality (PQ) parameters in accordance with IEC 61000-4-30:2008 (class A) and ЕN 50160:2010. 

It is supplied with PQ monitor-recorder software LPW-Studio for Windows and Linux.

All modifications of the device have three interfaces for integration into the automated systems of control and accounting of energy resources: Fast Ethernet (100 Mbit/s), RS-485, RS-232.

The power supply is from 85 V to 600 V, it is possible to work even in case of failures in the network.

Measurement capabilities
Monitoring of power quality (PQ) parameters Real time measurement of all electric power quality parameters through three voltage channels and three current channels with transmission via Ethernet, RS-485 or RS-232 interfaces.
Energy audit Measurement with preservation in the non-volatile memory of all the main parameters of electrical energy through three voltage channels and three current channels. The device allows you to register all electric power quality parameters for the subsequent generation of a report in accordance with IEC 61000-4-30:2008 (class A) and ЕN 50160:2010 for up to 100 days in an autonomous mode, which makes it possible to use the devices for a 7-day energy audit.
Waveform registration Multiple saves of 20 periods in the nonvolatile memory of the device (2048 samples) of the fundamental frequency with a sampling rate of 200 μs both on request and on the occurrence of a given event with preservation of the prehistory.

It is possible to supply both from one of the phases of measured voltage, and from an individual line.

LPW-305 application assumes the use of external current transformers (CT), and when connected to a line with a voltage of more than 0.4 kV - the use of external voltage transformers (VT). From a technical point of view, you can use any certified CTs and VTs that are suitable for your task in the input nominal current range of CT, input nominal voltage range of VT, and having an output nominal range:

  • 1 A or 5 A for CTs with the appropriate selection of the current measuring range in LPW-305.
  • From 57 V to 0.4 kV for VTs, depending on the connection scheme of VT to LPW-305 and the selection of the voltage measurement range in LPW-305.

Typical cases are the use of CTs and VTs with an accuracy class of 0.5S or 0.2S.

As a current transformer it is possible to use current clamp (CC) with current output. In this case, all the specified requirements for CTs also apply to the CCs.
